Gem Mountain Layout

Followed this beautiful sketch challenge at Once Upon a .. Sketch
 and had loads of fun with some old photos, of a trip we took a couple years ago to a sapphire/gem mine, with our whole family. This was a fun layout, since I was able to add loads of gems, and did some sparkle and glass effects too. :)

Challenge 171 Build a Bike

WOW, I am so excited to be a Guest Designer at How Much is Too Much, (whew hoo!!!!) and the challenge is a wonderful one!  Build a Bike!  It made me stretch my imagination a bit, to use all the required challenge ideas.  WHAT FUN!!! :)  Please come join along with us....
Please create a layout that has:
-Your favorite color(s)
-2 circles for wheels
-2 pictures
-3 or more metal embellishments
-ribbon for handlebar streamers
-a flag or pennant
-something shiny for the reflectors
-And an image of a bike somewhere on your page.


The theme of the layout is up to you. Hope you have fun with it! 

#37 Challenge Photo Inspiration Lasting Memories

Here is my layout for the photo inspiration challenge at Lasting Memories!  I was inspired by the lovely colors, and "flower" theme.  It even forced me to dig through older photos, to come up with just what I wanted.  Wonderful challenge!!! It requires a birthday layout with embossing..

I thought that was a super fun thing to incorporate in a b-day layout! :)

& I also incorporated all the things needed to play along with Scrapbookers Anonymous Challenge Blog
which has a super fun challenge
The MAY challenge is to use stamps to make at least one piece of patterned paper for your layout and 3 stamped embellishments

So as my first layout for Lasting Memories as a new D/Teamster, I had to tackle a challenge, that at first, was very difficult (ME, ME, what would I do about me)--but, you know, once I got started, I could barely shut up, I had so much to say about me! :)  Soooo please play along at Lasting Memories with this challenge, I think you will be truly amazed at how much you really have to say about yourself! :)  http://kcclayoutchallenges.blogspot.com/
