Lasting Memories has a great sketch, and challenge "Santa is Coming"....so I am entering my layout in their challenge. :)

I used the delightful sketch from The Scraproom Blog...(posted below)...and I will also enter the challenge at Scrap it with a Song (use a favorite c-mas carol).....Mine is-- O' Christmas Tree....since we were decorating our little tree, while we are in "limbo", in temporary quarters. :)

Lasting Memories Blog has a wonderful challenge this week, about "The Polar Express"...ahh, I love that movie.... :)  Anyhow it worked perfect for me, as I love Santa's line, "Just remember the true spirit of Christmas lies in your heart"...So that is my page theme.. :)  Also Sketches in Thyme has a wonderful sketch (#95) I followed....

I used Sketches in Thyme sketch #96 to complete my layout.  It worked perfectly for a pic I had of Mr. Frosty in November. :)

I used Sketches in Thyme sketch #90 to do my layout. :)  It worked great for me, although I changed it a bit and used 2 pictures. :)

I had a lot of fun making this one, since it explains one of my over the top nerdy great passions. :)  Lasting Memories challenge this week is all about the movies, and since we made it an "event" to see Harry Potter last year, it was a good time to use my pictures! :)  Also Sketches Creatively Yours, has a wonderful sketch for their challenge, I changed it a bit, but utilized their "idea" format.  Thanks for all the inspiration. :) Here is my layout and SCY sketch. :)

Giving flowers :)

I am honored, that I was asked to be a guest designer for Childs Play Challenge!!! WOW.... their theme is The Giving Tree book (what a wonderful child's story)....
My page is about foxglove flowers...they are gorgeous here in Oregon. I feel every year...that, they are a "gift" after all the heavy rains, spring brings us here--we are ready for some bright beauty. :)  I have taken roughly a million shots of them, and none ever due justice to how lovely these flowers are.... So with all that said here is my a layout, and thanks again to Childs Play, for asking me to be a GD....for their blog. :)

I would also like to enter my layout in the challenge at Graphicats because I used their wonderful sketch to complete and compliment :) my layout!
