A Seriously Creative Challenge Blog has a great challenge, you need to incorporate the following into your scrapping idea:

L- Layers

O- Ovals

V- Vintage

E- Embellishments

Lucky for me I collect {ie: HORDE} any vintage buttons, and vintage ric rac I can find at estate sales. :)  I love to use the small ric rac.  Soooo, I met all the "challenges" in my page... It was fun, giving it a go!

Also, I am entering the Childs Play Challenge where they are asking you to create a project inspired by crayons....{I LOVE CRAYONS}.... :)  & I thought my kids, are usually my scrapbooking inspiration, and always color my world.... :)

Celebrate your Inner Ghoul...:)  WE  LOVE Halloween in our house, and this year was a lot of fun, but as usual I am behind on scrapping pictures.. {of everything} :).  Scrap your Crap has a great challenge right now, to use old stamps (I personally have an overabundance of stamps, that I never use)...so the hardest part for me, was FINDING the Halloween stamps) ha..Lasting Memories has the challenge of "Celebrate"--I am probably stretching that a bit, with Halloween pictures, but for us Halloween is all about celebrating, costumes, candy and fun. :)  Thanks for all the inspiration! :)

Scrapping Everyday Miracles has the most wonderful sketch, and a technique using, flags (they even have a free digital download) {WOW}....I LOVED having this new idea to incoporate into my layout!  Wonderful inspiration, and they have beautiful DT layouts, as well!!!!  So here is my take, and their sketch

is a wonderful quick way to put your photos down on a fast quick page...I am entering yet another layout in their great challenge. :)
Here are the rules:
(I changed this one to 2" squares)

Big Sky

I used the wonderful sketch from Get Picky #17.  I made mine rather "simple", but I liked it for the pictures I was using.  :)  I also am entering this into the challenge at White with 1 as I loved the idea of "lemon"....(their challenge is white, + lemon + 3 photos)...yea

This is how I store my twine...ribbon, is in a big jumble in a drawer.. :(
I saw this on Pinterest, and copied the idea for the twine holder, and it works wonderfully.. :)

I loved thesketch at Sketchabilities #65.  It inspired me to complete a layout for some pictures taken last year... yea. :)

This was a great sketch (I never use circles) so I liked the clean lines, and simplicity of it! :)  It definitely inspired me to try something new.... :)

Whales and Family

 Over at Childs Play Challenge they have a wonderful challenge with the book "Guess how much I love you" as inspiration.
I interpreted it into my layout, with all the things, I LOVE SO VERY MUCH!!!  My folks, my family, and humpback whales! :) {a wee obsession with me}...
I even drug out some old "craft" supplies, that I haven't used in a long while.

Sketches in Thyme has a wonderful two pager challenge going on --and it was a great sketch to follow! :)  I liked that I had a place to put several photos...

I thought the simplicity and clean lines of the Stuck on U sketches were perfect for what I wanted to do with some pictures I had of Waimea Canyon.  :)  So here is my take on their challenge. :)

Napali Coast Amazing leaves, and vines!

I am starting some of our pictures from our trip to Kauai, and needed some inspiration to get my creatvie juices flowing, sooo, I loved this sketch at Sketches with a Twist
so am entering my take on it, for their Feb. challenge. :)  Also, scrapbookers-anonymous has a challenge using stitching and 3 hearts.... (I hope drawing your stitches isn't cheating)--but my sewing machine, and I had a falling out awhile back, and we still haven't reconciled our differences! :)  Lastly I always love to see what Lasting Memories challenges has, and they have a wonderful open challenge using "ribbon"....soooo, I will enter this in theirs as well....
